The All Progressivess Congress in the United Kingdom has expressed optimism over the emergence of the Minister of Solid Minerals Resources, Dr.KayodeFayemi in the just concluded primaries held last week, saying that the APC shall take over Ekiti state after the upcoming governorship election.

According to the party, Dr Fayemi is a politician with exceptional character and experience spanning from activism to politics. His achievements when he governed the state with great prudence will help him to attain the position again.

Fayemi’s experience both within and outside politics is enough to get the best for his people; As a key reformer, he has the knowledge to transform the state.

The party praised the contestants in the election saying, truly we have emerged. A chieftain of the party, Prince Ade Omole described the participants in the primary as the main heroes.

The main heroes in this election are the co-contestants in the election who despite their defeat, have promised to work together for the success of the party in the July 14 election, says Omole.

Omole reiterates President MuhammaduBuhari’s stance that APC has taken internal democracy seriously, and the success of the Ekiti Primary, with more than 30 aspirants, further validates our party’s democratic tenets.
